[ relax it, mix it up ]
You could tell that there was a change at TOPHOP UNIQUE... the collection looked some much different than last season's "Cleopatra" looks!
Kate Phelan brought 18 years of experience at British Vogue to Topshop's in-house design team when she joined the retail behemoth as creative director last June. "Relax it, mix it up" were Phelan's straightforward goals.
Love the way that structure and slouch were combined to create something edgy but accessible, cool but not too girly. Well done!
