[ Tilda Swinton for CHANEL... ]

Tilda Swinton poses for CHANEL's Pre-fall 2013 ad campaign.
“Tilda perfectly embodies the Paris-Edinburgh collection,” said Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld.
“She is of course Scottish, but more than that, she is a modern woman,
a timeless icon of elegance” (Vogue UK).

[ CHANEL's way of celebrating Mother's Day ]

To celebrate Mother's Day, CHANEL is giving away beautiful bouquets with every 100ml fragrance
bought in its Covent Garden beauty store.
The detail I love most: your personal message will be written out by the in-house calligrapher on one of their camelia embossed cards with a choice of quotes from Mademoiselle Chanel.
Wow!

[ quilt & buckles ]

I was really close to skip the satchel trend...
I love the "flap bag" shapes, I just didn't think it's a style that fits me.
but let's stop for a second... these CHANEL bags are stuck in my head for a while now, and I absolutely adore the quilt, the buckle details, etc.!
....this satchel needs to be reconsidered!!

[ getting ready for the OLYMPICS ]

BALENCIAGA - Resille Low Trainer
CHANEL - running sneakers
PIERRE HARDY - Low Top Lace-Up Sneakers
ALEXANDER WANG - Croc-Print leather sneakers

A while ago when thinking of sneakers + street style I automatically thought about the American girl going to work with running shoes and then change into high heels at the office.
Now Tommy Ton captured well the upcoming trend at the fashion shows... running shoes are no longer just for the work out or the way to go to work.
Now that's a comfortable trend!!
Love these sneakers from labels such as Balenciaga, Pierre Hardy......

[ personalized CHANEL ]

Last night a friend of mine has sent me this picture... she was reading about the post "I see CRYSTAL CLEAR" featuring a CHANEL bag and wrote me back "I've got the same bag!".
Obviously I needed proof ;)
So here her version of the transparent CHANEL: "I've put stickers to hide a little bit what I put in the bag..." she wrote.
Not sure I would dare to decorate a Chanel with stickers, but then again I think it only makes it more valuable & personal... I love it!
Thank you for the picture, Sani!

[ I see CRYSTAL CLEAR ]

Lately the transparent trend seems to grow, slowly but can't go unnoticed anymore... remember the 3.1 PHILIPP LIM oversized vinyl clutch, the ERDEM perspex heel pumps or the DRIES VAN NOTEN Perspex heel booties?
Even Karl Lagerfeld seems to be hooked on clear accessories ...at the CHANEL Cruise presentation in Versailles, he styled his models with plastic cross-body bags and matching cuff bracelets, while on the Chanel Fall runway the models were wearing see-trough cylinder heel pumps.

[ BOYish attitude ]

I've always been a fan of the CHANEL BOY line... and to me the BOY bags in plush velvet very definitely one of the best accessories to be spotted at the Chanel show for Fall 2012!
Love the rich colours.... really really want one!!

[ crystal paradise ]

The CHANEL shows are always so rich on details, so the closer you get the better :)
Loved the "crystals & stones" theme of the Fall 12 runway....

[ CHANEL groupie ]

The CHANEL prefall 2012 was like out of a fairytale. We have all seen it & loved it. Sooo rich on details, the jewelry pieces were amazing!

I especially loved those "embellished guitar-strap" cross-body bags!
... it's good to feel a little bit of "Rock'n'Roll" in all the beauty!

I would actually love to have such a strap for my guitar ;)

[ les gouaches de CHANEL ]

I'm a lipstick girl... always have been. And yes, my lipstick collection is quite big, but somehow there is always space for a new colour ;)
My favourite thing is my gouache "paint" box from CHANEL... I just mix my own colour the way I like it. So smart.
I worship this box (I have it for ages), not sure Chanel is still doing this arty make-up kit...
I agree it's not the easiest way to put on lipstick but probably the most fun!
