ALEXANDER WANG's biggest news of late is a highly ambitious plan to open 14 stores in China over the course of the next year. It's likely no coincidence that what he showed today was his most luxurious-feeling collection to date.
As front-row guest Anna Wintour says "fashion should always move forward"... and Wang did that with layers of Perspex and plastic where cotton undershirts used to be, leathers were glossy and seamless, suede pants and coats came with waxed panels and a long, asymmetrical sweep of a leather t-shirt.
Pretty cool!!
